Our Commitment to Safety
Nothing is more important to the people at CSE Morse than the safety of our employees and the safety of our clients. A job’s success is measured by more than just a timely completion within a given budget. Today, it must also be assessed by whether the job was completed without incident. At CSE Morse, our goal is to complete every job, whether a 50-man shutdown, or a 4-hour fabrication project, without injury or incident.
Our comprehensive safety program and safety staff work toward accomplishing the following on every project:
- Proper planning before work begins to identify potential hazards or issues and to develop a safe plan of action.
- Observation and training throughout the project to ensure proper policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Project review and continuous improvement going forward.
Here are some statistics to illustrate just how important safety is to us:
- All managers, supervisors, and foremen are required to have OSHA 30-hour training.
- All employees, regardless of position, are required to have OSHA 10-hour training at a minimum.
- Current EMR rating of 0.66
- Zero lost time incidents and zero recordable incidents in the last 3 years. That’s zero lost time or recordable incidents in just over 320,000 hours worked.
- Daily safety meetings at project sites to assess the days tasks and document plan of action.
- Weekly and monthly toolbox talks on industry specific topics.
We would be more than happy to provide you with the full version of our company safety manual upon request.
We are very proud of our safety record over the last several years and will continue to commit the time and resources necessary to maintain a record of zero Incidents.
